Dean Christopher joined Wasserman Media Group in 2004 and currently serves as chief financial officer. In this role, Christopher oversees all financial aspects of the company.
Dean Christopher started out as director of finance for the Los Angeles Avengers, he then transitioned to Wasserman’s corporate group to establish the finance department. Christopher then spent two years as vice president of finance for Wasserman’s digital media property, Sportnet, until the merger of Sportnet with Grind Networks in April 2009.
Prior to Wasserman, Christopher served as assistant director of finance for the Los Angeles Dodgers for two seasons, where he managed financial reporting, strategic planning, forecasting and financial analysis. He was involved with a wide array of strategic projects for the Dodgers, including assisting in the sale of the team to Frank McCourt. Before that, Christopher was a manager in transaction services with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he performed due diligence for companies involved in mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures. While with PwC, Christopher worked with a range of public and private companies as well as private equity funds, including Ford Motor Company, Avery Dennison, Texas Pacific Group and Whitney & Company.
Christopher is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies with a concentration in accounting from the University of Michigan.
